High praises for Blackenbrook Gewurztraminer 2017

Fantastic to see Neil Hodgson's latest review in the Nelson Mail:

This Gewurztraminer is typical of the Blackenbrook style, beautiful winemaking that delivers clean flavours true to the varietal. 

In this case the lovely ripe fruit aromas tease the senses but the flavours deliver on the promise.  Lively spiced pear, lychee and soft ginger flavours abound in the rich but not over-powering palate, a medium to dry style wine that delivers excellent value. 

Joining a silver medal from the recent Bragato Wine Awards is a four star rating from me.
