Autumn bliss at the vineyard
There is a peaceful silence over the vineyard. The cheerful pickers are long gone and content sheep now graze between the vines, keeping the grass short in a most sustainable way.
The last of the yellow leaves are stubbornly hanging on, dreading the next storm that will clear them out.
This scene is about to change next week when our team's back for pruning. They will cut out this season's growth, the first step towards vintage 2023.
