Our Pinot Blanc 2021 is packed with white peach, jasmine and spice flavours. It’s multi-layered with an incredible texture beautifully complemented by a touch of sweetness and a juicy acidity.

It’s our Moutere clay soils, the dazzling Nelson sun and the finger prints of our team that make our wines unique. We hope you’ll enjoy.

Enjoy it with:

Thai style steamed fish, New Zealand crayfish, pumpkin risotto, creamy pasta, grilled asparagus, Alsatian onion tart

5 Stars Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews

The nose is softly full, filled the glass with aromas of apple, pear, citrus and a white flower bouquet.

Medium-bodied, brilliant concentration on the palate, fronting apple, grapefruit zest aromas and  a layer of delicate pink peppercorn. The mouthfeel is oily, almost unctuous, elegantly carries the spice throughout the palate with the support of mouthwatering acidity.

The fruit had excellent concentration, filled the palate with weight and depth of flavour. This is an excellent example of Pinot Blanc with a concentrated varietal character and a lush mouthfeel.

Season Overview

Mother Nature threw some hefty challenges at us with unsettled weather and gale-force wind in spring followed by a hail storm on Boxing Day.

The humid and cold conditions in December made pollination difficult, resulting in small bunches with far less berries than usual.

Luckily we dodged the worst of the hail storm in December and only the Pinot Noir suffered damage.

In January the weather finally turned and the sun kept smiling down on us right into harvest. On 15 March we started picking beautifully healthy grapes of outstanding fruit concentration. Just smaller than wished for volumes…
