4 ½ Stars Michael Cooper: A consistently delicious wine.
The powerful 2014 vintage is richly perfumed and mouthfilling, with a splash of and strong, peachy, well-spiced, slightly gingery flavours. Fine value.
4 Stars or 92/100 from Bob Campbell MW
Rich, ripe, opulent Gewurztraminer in an off/dry style. Luscious rose petal/lychee characters with hints of clove and other spices. A suggestion of sweetness is restrained by a hint of phenolic bitterness. Appealing wine that gives a nod in the direction of Alsace.

The aromas are so enticing I would almost be happy to just smell the wine.
Soft ginger and floral rose petal notes are hugely seductive to senses while in the mouth it is a delicious full-textured wine, packed with intense lychee characters. The natural fruit sweetness is balanced with ginger spice. A magnificent example of Gewurztraminer. A wine with character, balance and flavour that is a true reflection of the variety and a very worthy trophy winner.
