What they say...

Bob Campbell MW-5 stars [95/100] Bob Campbell MW
Intense, vibrant Riesling with strong lime/citrus and mineral flavours, great purity and wonderfully fine acidity. Made in a medium/dry style, the wine achieves real tension between acidity and sweetness.

Bob Campbell MW - Gourmet Traveller - Wine
One of the Top Twelve New Zealand Rieslings.
Michael Cooper-5 stars Michael Cooper
Full of potential, yet already drinking well, this estate-grown wine is tight and rich, with substantial body, a sliver of sweetness (10 grams/litre of residual sugar), and lovely depth of citrusy, slightly spicy flavours.  From the earliest harvest to date, it's still very youthful, with notable ripeness, delicacy and length.

Jo Burzynska - Viva, New Zealand Herald

Blackenbrook is a relatively new Nelson estate that has swiftly established itself as one of the most exciting producers of Aromatics in the region.

 Warren Barton - Southland Times
A classy, intense and substantial wine with pure citrus, mineral flavours and a shake of spice. Already a stunner and its still unfolding. Medium dry.

Neil Hodgson - The Nelson Mail
Another fine aromatic wine from Nelson.  Deep, tart, floral citrus flavours are balanced with a touch of residual sugar.  Even though this young wine is quite tight right now, it is perfect with sweet Nelson seafood and will develop a lovely citrus richness with five to eight years in the cellar.  Perfect summer drinking.
