Join us at the inaugural Nelson Scallop & Seafood Festival 2010

Scallops, sharks and singers will come together at Port Nelson on Sunday, July 18, in a new festival to round off the annual Blessing of the Fleet and organiser Huup Waagen is promising an event for all ages.

Come on down to Talley’s in Akerston Street to sample delicious food from 5 Nelson restaurants, a glass of hand-crafted wine by Neudorf, Waimea, Rimu Grove, Kahurangi or Blackenbrook or a cup of heart-warming Blackenbrook Mulled Wine.

Entry Fees: $10 for adults, $5 for children under 15, and $20 for a family pass.

Our “Open Days” at the beginning of the year were so popular that we have decided to open the doors of our winery once more this season on

For the Love of Books – the inaugural Mapua Literary Festival

We always enjoy coming to the Capital and look forward to present our latest releases at Regional Wines and Spirits from 11am to 4pm. Once more the focus will be on the aromatic varieties Nelson is so famous for.

The Tasting will be free and our wines will be sold at attractive special prices.

Brightwater Wine & Food Festival
