Jingle bell, jingle bell – Christmas is almost upon us and before you all get too busy, we’d love to quickly talk about our latest news.

Sue Courtney has just published a rave review about our Pinot Gris 2008 on her “Wine of the Week” web site.

In the mouth it simply seduces with its gorgeous seamless texture that flows across the tongue and coats the insides of the cheeks. It’s a full-bodied wine that seems rich and luscious with some spice and spritz but finishes dry with vanilla, macadamia and apricot the lasting memory….  I can’t believe how good this wine is even with 15% alcohol. It has lovely balance, flavour, mouthfeel and length.

She even likened it to the fabulous Domaine Zind-Humbrecht in Alsace – the exact winery where Daniel worked as a cellar-hand many years ago!

Because everybody keeps pushing and prodding us, we will open the Doors of our Winery on 29 and 30 December and again on 2 and 4 January from 1pm to 5pm.  Pop in for a glimpse behind the scenes, a taste of our latest releases and some delicious home-baked Swiss bread!  Of course we will also have special wine offers ready for you.  (50 Baldwin Rd, Tasman, turn off at the Tasman General Store, Nelson Wine Map No 13).
