Spring has brought along a raft of exciting news: In a move to greener production we are this year replacing all weed-spraying with under-vine mowing – gone are the days of bare strips under our vine-rows. The protective grass cover will improve the balance in the soil and stimulate beneficial root organisms.
It’s the time of the year to unveil the wines of the new vintage: We are proud to release our Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Chardonnay 2008, the St Jacques Pinot Noir 2008 and Montepulciano 2008. We have presented them at many a new release tasting up and down the country, but should you have missed out we are offering an attractive New Release Package to all members of our Mailing List.
Our Pinot Gris 2008 has done us proud at the Bragato Wine Awards by scoring a sought after Gold Medal. This year the judges awarded only five Golds to Pinot Gris, three of which went to Nelson! This confirms our region’s ability to create outstanding Aromatics!
Our marketing team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes. We are now proud to launch our brand new web site and to present our newsletter in a fresh look.
